I have used both and both have been very good tools, depending on my diet at the time. Caloriecount.com keeps track of a lot more things, including vitamin levels, but doesn't have too extensive a database for certain foods and exercise. Keep in mind that it being caloriecount, it tracks calories, so if you're on a carb-counting diet, this may not be for you.

I'm currently using loseit.com because the app is so much easier to use and a lot more user-friendly. The database for food seems a lot more extensive and accurate, though it doesn't seem to monitor water intake or vitamin intake at all. The emphasis for this site seems to be a calorie counter as well.

2011-06-08 [Nioniel]: If your doctor says that, I'll make him my doctor. <3

2011-06-08 [hanhepi]: right! might have to move to texas to hear it though.

2011-06-08 [Nioniel]: I'll ljust phone him up, tell him my BP, and let him recommend some burgers!

2011-06-10 [Lothuriel]: I am working on a wiki about healthy living but, it leans more toward the areas of house hold cleaners, shampoos, etc. When I get it finished we should do some linkage exchange!

2011-06-10 [Akayume]: I once had The 99 Steps to an Eco-Friendly Life challenge wiki. It didn't really take off. :P

2011-06-10 [Nioniel]: Sounds cool, Loth! ^^

2011-06-10 [Akayume]: Whoops! I meant this: The 99 Step to an Eco-Friendly Lifestyle Challenge

Apparently I originally forgot the "s". :P

2011-06-15 [Nioniel]: What do you guys and gals think of having a contest (maybe photography and/or writing/poetry) that somehow ties in with "Healthy Living?"

2011-06-15 [Linderel]: ...I just started thinking about Women Laughing Alone With Salad. <_<

2011-06-15 [Nioniel]: lawl. :P

2011-06-15 [Linderel]: Come on, it's impossible not to go there!

/puts on watch

2011-08-13 [Nioniel]: Thank you!

2011-08-15 [Kiddalee]: Doctors in North America (and possibly Britain?) are so occupied with fighting high blood pressure that they ignore low blood pressure. In countries where obesity is less of a problem, doctors deal with low blood pressure a little more seriously. It can cause low energy in some people. Eating a little salt is a simple thing you can do if yours isn't severe. I like to eat molasses and sometimes I make switchel. Gatorade works too.

2011-08-15 [Stephen]: Low blood pressure is really rare around here. (I live in the USA though, so most of us are fat -- no offense to anyone!) You make a good point, however.

2011-08-15 [Mira Ravenheart]: Low blood pressure can be just as dangerous as high blood pressure, and occurs most often in women.
